BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COACHING IS DIFFERENT THAN LIFE & WELLNESS COACHING.

Alongside psychology credentials, the main difference is that the focus of changing your life is centered around changing the cognitive & behavioral patterns in the mind that hold you back. This type of coaching will hold you accountable to your commitments and is an action based approach to create lifelong transformations. 

Traci is your qualified professional Behavioral Coach Expert with an extensive history as a master's level mental health professional, and who has coached hundreds of people in this method.


 

What Is Behavioral Health Coaching?

While this is not therapy, you will experience therapeutic benefits. The main difference between therapy and this form of coaching is that therapy focuses primarily on how the past impacts your life today, where as this coaching method focuses on how to change current behaviors today that impact your future. The word coach has become a new fad, but this is nothing like "life coaching" methods. This is the professional approach to applying life changes, with psychological methods that have been proven to impact your behavior that leads to lifelong transformation.

Self sabatoge is the most common behavior that holds you back from success. Your thoughts, choices, and actions are all centered around your internal belief system. Your past experience influence your mind today. 

Beliefs are simple enough to change, but it requires intention, choice, effort, and thoughtfulness. Here you will be guided to take back control over your life and take ownership in your actions.

This method is not a sprint to the finish line. Other "coaches" out there will try to  convince you that your happiness is found when you ditch your job and start your own business. Some refer to this as manifesting. If you are running from a situation that has control over you, starting a business in that type of overwhelm and avoidance will lead to failure.

While this may not be the flashy "feel abundant in 10 days or less" approach, you WILL find happiness, fulfillment, emotional healing, life changes, circumstances shifting, and ultimately you will feel like yourself. Isn't that really what you are chasing after?

Together we will identify the honest truth and gain clarity in where you are today and how you got there. Then we will shift the focus to where you want to go and what is holding you back. Once we get clear on these things, the path to change becomes clear as well. You will understand the changes required to implement in order to reach your desired outcome.

You have most likely started many self related projects and programs to feel better only to find that you stop in your tracks when you experience the dreaded “guilt”. It happens. A LOT.

Guilt comes from many sources along with fear. It can be a bit of a one-two punch stopping even the bravest soul.

There is NO WAY or no approach of change that will skirt around the guilt issue. You will feel guilt during change.

You will feel many things during change.

I have and extensive psychological background that provides me with the ability to really understand the complexities of emotions and history, creating safety and grounding for those that are wanting to reinvent themselves. I work well with mental health professionals if those needs arise.

The anticipation of change is exciting because that is where we feel inspired and hopeful in what possibly could be. The problem here, is that you will never actually experience the satisfaction of change.

When you put in the work, you are proud of yourself. Putting in the work does not give you the same feeling that the anticipation of the beginning does, that is why it is so easy to give up. I will show you how to keep true hope and inspiration alive every day without the anticipation or desperate hope you have led with in the past. You will overcome what you didn’t think you could and that is the sweetest form of satisfaction alongside confidence in yourself again.

I have experienced this feeling in my own journey and my greatest moments as a teacher and coach is seeing the same emotion on my client’s face.
